- Issuing a Schengen visa cannot be guaranteed. In individual cases it may take up to 45 days. Thus, it is important to apply as soon as your travel plans are finalized from up to 6 months ahead of your travel. The invitation letter serves only as a supporting document and does not guarantee the issuance of a visa.
- In some cases, Charles University cannot guarantee issuing letter of invitation. The eligibility will be considered on individual basis for each applicant. We advise you to contact us prior to registering at syntaxfest@ufal.mff.cuni.cz.
- Please note that the standard cancellation policies still apply in case you are not deemed eligible for invitation letter.
