Instructions for Authors

Oral Presentations

Oral presentations will take place at the conference venue. Each paper is scheduled as either a short talk or a long talk, with the following time limits:

  • Short talks (15 min): 10 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A
  • Long talks (20 min): 15 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A

Please keep to your allocated time to ensure the smooth flow of the programme.

Presentation rooms are equipped with a PC (Windows) connected to a projector. Please bring your slides on a USB stick (PowerPoint and PDF formats supported) to ensure a smooth transition between presentations. Please put your slides on the PC during the break before your session to avoid any technical issues.

To enable inclusion of presentation recordings into the ACL Anthology proceedings, presenters will be asked to sign a voluntary written consent form giving the organizers permission to record the presentation.

WiFi is available via Eduroam or designated network.

Poster Presentations

Posters should be prepared in A0 portrait format, or A1 if landscape. The organizers will take care of poster fixing: Please bring your posters to the registration desk by the end of lunchtime (14:00) on the day of your presentation.

Each poster session will begin with a round of lightning talks, where each presenter gives a 2-minute oral introduction to their poster. As previously informed through OpenReview, poster presenters may optionally prepare one booster slide to accompany their lightning talk (a single slide in pdf format). Please upload your booster slides through OpenReview by August 20 at the latest.

On-site printing is available at the conference venue through the printing services at the Faculty of Law. The printing facility is available every day from 8:00 to 15:00. The price for an A0 format print starts at around 25€ and may vary case-by-case. Please note that orders for prints must be placed at least one day in advance and payment can be made only on-site using cash or card. The printing services can be reached via email: fotokopirnica.pf@gmail.com or phone: +386 142 03 103.
