Getting to Ljubljana

Ljubljana Airport connects the city to many European destinations and is located about 25km North of Ljubljana. Nearby airports in Trieste (125km), Venice (230km), Klagenfurt (140km), Graz (185km), and Zagreb (140km), also offer convenient alternatives for reaching Ljubljana. You can then easily continue your journey by taxi, shuttle, bus, or train.

There is a regular bus service from Ljubljana Airport to Ljubljana city center that takes approximately 30 minutes. You can find a detailed schedule here. There are also car rental services, shuttle services, and taxis available. A taxi to the main bus station in Ljubljana will typically cost about 23 €.

If you are arriving by train or by bus, the main railway station and main bus station in Ljubljana are co-located and are a 10 minute-walk from the city center.

Getting around Ljubljana

The conference venue is conveniently located in the city center, only a 5-minute walk from Prešeren Square and a 10-minute walk from Ljubljana’s main railway station. For those preferring to stay outside the city center, city buses number 13 and 20 stop at nearby bus stops, providing easy access to the venue.
