Flying to Ljubljana
Ljubljana Airport (Jože Pučnik Airport) is located approximately 25 km north of the city and connects Ljubljana to numerous European destinations.

From Ljubljana Airport to Ljubljana City Center
There are several ways to get to Ljubljana, whether you are arriving to the Ljubljana airport:

From Nearby Airports to Ljubljana City Center
The most convenient way to travel from nearby airports to Ljubljana is to use a shuttle service, such as GoOpti, which offers flexible drop-off locations within the city.
Arriving by Bus or Train
Ljubljana’s main railway and bus stations are co-located and situated just a 10-minute walk from the city center and the conference venue. International trains and buses connect Ljubljana to major European cities. Please note that delays may occasionally occur, so plan your journey accordingly.Arriving by Car
Ljubljana is easily accessible by motorways from neighboring countries. A valid motorway vignette is required for all motorways and the Ljubljana ring road. Vignettes can be purchased at petrol stations before entering Slovenia, as well as at petrol stations, post offices, kiosks, AMZS offices within Slovenia, or online at https://evinjeta.dars.si/en. The vignette price for a car is €16 for one week or €32 for one month, allowing unlimited motorway travel within Slovenia during the validity period.
Getting Around Ljubljana
The conference venue is conveniently located in the heart of Ljubljana, just a 5-minute walk from Prešeren Square (main square) and 10 minutes from the main railway and bus stations, so everything should be accessible by foot. For those wishing to access other parts of the city, city buses number 13 and 20 provide convenient access to the venue, and free city bus rides will be available for all registered participants.
Cycling Around Ljubljana
A convenient and eco-friendly way to explore Ljubljana is to use the BicikeLJ city bike system. To use the bikes, register on the BicikeLJ website. A weekly subscription costs only €1, and once registered, you can use the bikes an unlimited number of times as long as each trip is under 60 minutes. The most convenient way to use the system is through the BicikeLJ app, which shows you the locations of bike stations and the number of available bikes. It also provides easy access to the bikes. The closest BicikeLJ stations to the conference venue are 'Ilirska ulica', 'Prešernov trg' and 'Pogačarjev trg'
