Welcome Reception

Location: Conference Venue, Lobby / Terrace

The welcome reception will take place after the first conference day. It is included in the registration fee and will feature a selection of finger food, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. If the weather allows, we will meet on the terrace outside the cafeteria.

Guided Tour of Ljubljana

Date: Wednesday, 27 August 2025, at 18:00
Starting point: In front of the Conference Venue

The guided walking tour (approx. 1.5 hours) is included in the registration and invites you to discover Ljubljana’s old town and its landmarks, including Prešeren Square with the Franciscan Church and Triple Bridge, Plečnik’s market arcades and the Cathedral, the Town Hall and Robba Fountain, the Shoemakers’ Bridge, the National and University Library (NUK), Križanke, and Congress Square.

After the poster session, light snacks and refreshments will be available to recharge before the tour. Those who prefer a short break before the tour can easily return to their hotels and join us at the meeting point.

Conference Dinner at Ljubljana Castle

Date: Thursday, 28 August 2025, at 19:00
Location: Gostilna Na gradu (funicular tickets will be provided)
Meeting point: In front of the Conference Venue (for timing, see group options below)

Our conference dinner will take place at Gostilna Na Gradu, a restaurant located within the walls of Ljubljana Castle, known for its creative interpretations of Slovenian dishes made from local ingredients. The menu will offer two options – meat (no pork) or vegan – and includes drinks.

We will all meet in front of the conference venue and take the funicular to the castle. You can choose between two timing options:

  • Group 1 (Castle Walkers): Take the funicular to the castle and enjoy a short walk around the castle grounds and viewpoints before dinner.
  • Group 2 (Direct to Dinner): Take the funicular directly to the restaurant.
Exact meeting times for both groups will be announced closer to the event.

Dinner participation is optional (€50 per person) and can be selected during registration. If you wish to add dinner or an accompanying person later, please contact nina.bernard@antana-pco.com to reopen your registration form.
